For the Worshipful Company of Insurers philanthropy takes many forms – grants to charities, educational initiatives, volunteering and supporting the Lord Mayor and the City in their charitable objectives.
Engaging with good causes is core to our mission. In addition to welcoming applications from potential Charity Partners, we also encourage members to get involved, either by volunteering their time or applying for matched funding for charitable activities they are personally involved with.

It is our policy to support carefully chosen educational and social welfare charities based in and around the City. The wide range of charities supported recently with grants made by our Trust will be found under Charity Partners.
The Charitable Trust has given over £1.2m and WCI members have contributed many thousands of volunteer hours to over 180 charities, schools and others in the past decade.
The Trust welcomes applications for funding from registered charities working in and around the City of London. Download an application form.
WCI members wishing to apply for matched funding for a charity project they are personally involved with will find further information in the Members’ Fundraising Section of the website.
The WCI and its members actively support a wide range of charities and charitable events.
Many of these, such as the annual reception for school students in conjunction with Brokerage Citylink, bring WCI members into direct contact with the people we aim to help.
